Note: To achieve the best waxing results, hair needs to be at least a ¼ inch long.
We use strip and stripless waxing products. When waxing cannot be performed, a tweezing service will be recommended. One should not tan for at least 24 hours prior to waxing and one should not wax when using certain birth control medication, Retin-A, and specific acne medications. Deodorant is not recommended for at least 3 hours after waxing.
For body waxing, one should take an ibuprofen 20 minutes before waxing service. It is recommended that a Brazilian waxing should be performed 1-2 weeks after your period. PMS can cause more swelling and sensitivity. Neosporin is recommended for unusual redness. Cold compresses can reduce swelling. Waxing the day of a special event is not recommended.
